Started in 2006, Anderson Construction Services, Inc. performs civil construction and support services for processing units in the Philadelphia area. Currently ACS has a large presence in the Sunoco refinery located in South Philadelphia. Committed to safety, ACS has grown performing quality construction with a commitment to outstanding service.

Performing work from utility installation to foundation construction, ACS employs operating engineers, laborers, teamsters, cement masons, carpenters, rodsetters and ironworkers.

Working within processing units requires a commitment to safety and leadership. ACS invests in extensive safety training for all employees. Upon employment, each employee is required to trained in ACS safety expectations and procedures. Additionally ACS provides training for competent persons, hole watch and fire watch, and confined space safety. Project safety meetings are held regularly presented by our Safety Professionals.

ACS also performs leadership training for all site Foreman and Superintendents on a regular basis.

For the past two years, ACS has been awarded Sunoco's Certificate of Excellence for achieving excellence in Safety Performance. ACS has performed work at Sunoco's Eagle Point refinery as well as their Marcus Hook facility.

ACS is currently working on OEMS procedures (Operational Excellence Management System) and will be fully OEMS compliant in 2009. This standard will prepare ACS to expand their market share within critical process arenas.
